NAWASHI · TEACHER

Kinbakushi based in Kansai. Founded Circle M's SM group in 1996. From 2000 serialized "M's Monthly Report" and began bondage training sessions; expanded teaching to Nawa-ya workshops from 2001. From 2011 gave workshops internationally in the UK, Australia, Canada, France, and the USA. In a Shibari Study podcast interview, Kazami describes learning by trial and error in an era without formal teaching, then teaching students to understand why a tie works rather than only memorizing order; the same interview describes an apprentice structure with two Toronto apprentices and one Brisbane apprentice. Evil Girls HQ public sources identify Miss Gen as his qualified Kazami-Ryu instructor / deshi from late 2015 and Shihan / Head of School for Oceania from 2018.
