Miss Gen
Miss Gen is a Australian teacher in the Kazami-ryū.
Era: 2010s
TEACHER · PERFORMER · ORGANIZER
Australia-based Kazami-Ryu teacher, performer, organizer and Japanese interpreter publicly appearing as Miss Gen / MissEvilGen, centered on Evil Girls HQ in South East Queensland. Evil Girls HQ states that Miss Gen was appointed a qualified Kazami-Ryu instructor and deshi to Kazami Ranki in late 2015, and was announced in 2018 as Shihan / Head of School for the Oceania region; its 2025 cabaret page frames October 2015 as the point when she received deshi title and permission to teach Kazami's style in Australia, and says she built Kazami-Ryu into a large Australasia school with instructors in Brisbane, Perth, Auckland and Christchurch. Evil Girls HQ's 2020 intensive profile adds Australia / Japan performance context, Japanese-language interpreter work for Sydney Rope Festival 2013-2014, Kazami Ranki, Nawashi Kanna and Kasumi Hourai Australian tours, and Yoi Yoshida's O-Nawa 2014 in Japan. Studio Kink's 2019 Hourai Kasumi page uses the Miss Evil Gen spelling and describes her as an interpreter-grade Japanese translator and rope-aware educator. A 2025 podcast page gives current handles @MissEvilGen and @miss_gen_does_rope, and frames her as head of Evil Girls HQ with 25+ years rope experience.
