ShibariCon, 2004–2010s, is an American event in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Era: 2000s

Historic Chicagoland rope-bondage conference focused on education and information exchange for lovers of Japanese rope bondage. The inaugural May 2004 edition was hosted in Rosemont, followed by documented Naperville and Lincolnwood editions in 2005 and 2006. ShibariCon became one of the key North American meeting points for international rope teachers and practitioners; the early official programmes connect Midori, Dov / Washi Nawashi, Bridgett / Lee Harrington, Lochai, Claire Adams, Graydancer, Mark of DV8House and other established educators to its formative years.
