British kinbakushi, teacher, performer and photographer also known as Dave Rickman. His official site frames WykD Method as a personal style honoring the aesthetics of Nureki Chimuo and Naka Akira while incorporating the technical / structural integrity he associates with Akechi Denki and the photographic aesthetics of Sugiura Norio. The WykD about page describes him as UK-based, teaching and performing internationally with partner Clover; the cited event-brochure bio says he was self-taught for 17 years until a lesson with Osada Steve changed his way of tying. His own archive directly documents Yukimura Haruki study at Copenhagen Shibari Dojo in 2012, several days of Osada Steve lessons in Tokyo in 2016 and two days with Naka Akira in 2018; it explicitly says the intended 2016 Yukimura meeting did not occur. Nawapedia records LFRA organization with Clover, film / music-video rope work, and the opening of Studio Kokoro in Mansfield, UK. Promonews credits Dave WyKd as rope specialist for FKA twigs' 2015 `Pendulum` music video.
