Studio Yukari

Studio Yukari, 2022–2025, is a British studio in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

London shibari studio founded by Naoko / formerly Subay in 2022 and active as a physical Studio Yukari space through October 2025. Studio Yukari / Nawa Jyou Wa sources present Naoko as a Hong Kong-born London-based shibari artist, educator and Nawa Naka Kai member recognized as Naka Akira's third deshi in 2023; the studio offered private lessons, group classes, performances and filming / art collaboration. Its 2025 Nawa-Ato anniversary program hosted Akane and Nuitdetokyo for shows, sharing and a Yukimura-style model-focused class. The official farewell listing and Studio Ma site state that Studio Yukari ceased operation from November 1, 2025, with the physical space continued by Ma Collective as Studio Ma.
