Austin Ropecraft Symposium, 2005–2006, is a American event in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Historical rope-education symposium held in Austin in 2005 and 2006. The inaugural December 2005 edition described itself as unaffiliated and not-for-profit, sold out and brought together an international teaching roster; Austin Ropecraft Symposium 2 followed on September 1-3, 2006. Public programmes connect the symposium to Bridgett / Lee Harrington, Lochai, Mark of DV8House, Lew Rubens and Graydancer. This two-edition symposium is distinct from Graydancer's later ROPECRAFT convention brand launched in 2016.
