Qibari, 2019–, is a German studio in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Era: 2020s

Berlin rope / bodywork studio and training project around René von Qibari. The official site frames Qibari as `Rope - Bodywork`, combining classical Shiatsu, floorwork-oriented shibari, consent and embodied partner practice. René's official bio says he began Rope-Shiatsu workshops in 2019, took over the Lübbener Straße 26 rooms in 2023 to preserve them as a place for bodywork and shibari, and has taught within the Rope-Shiatsu training since 2024. Current official pages expose active 2026 beginner and advanced workshops, a six-weekend Rope-Shiatsu training track, one-to-one sessions and a small Open Floor rope-and-bodywork jam in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
