Berlin-based rope / bodywork teacher behind Qibari. Qibari's official about page presents René von Qibari / René Zechmeister as a bodywork practitioner born in 1963, active professionally in mobile Shiatsu since 2010, giving his first Rope-Shiatsu workshops from 2019, taking over the Lübbener Straße 26 rooms in 2023 to preserve them as a place for bodywork and shibari, and teaching within the Rope-Shiatsu training from 2024 onward. The current Qibari pages frame his work as a hybrid of classical Shiatsu, floorwork-oriented shibari, consent and body-based partner practice, with active 2026 beginner, bodywork and training offers in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
