KNOTY

KNOTY, 2021–, is a Portuguese studio in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Queer-owned rope and BDSM education space in Porto, founded by Ana Peres in January 2021 and operated publicly as KNOTY / The KNOTY (W)Hole. Its Portuguese- and English-language programme includes introductory and advanced shibari classes, intensives, rope jams, private and virtual lessons, play nights, talks and visiting-teacher workshops. The space emphasizes self-tying access, rope-bottom education, knowledge sharing and sliding-scale options where possible.
