The official site presents House of Knotty as Seattle's Gay Rope Studio with beginner and intermediate rope classes, suspension cohorts, rope jam, Tea Dance, play-party and Impact206 programming. Its Rope Jam page describes a monthly practice / play space with bamboo and ring hard points, while the Tea Dance page frames the project as LGBTQ+ community infrastructure with inclusive rope / brunch programming. Rope In Seattle's current venue page independently lists House of Knotty as a Seattle gay shibari studio and venue.
