His official House of Knotty biography says he started rope bondage in Cedar Rapids in 2016, taught through Homer Shibari Dojo from 2019, founded House of Knotty in 2023, and co-organizes RopeLab Seattle for intermediate and advanced men ropers tying on the masculine form.
