Ryuan (Sr. Interior / 流庵殿) is a Spanish shibari and kinbaku instructor based in Gijón, Asturias, active for more than two decades. He has led the Gijón dojo line since 2005; the school traces its first Nawakai Gijón space to 2004 and now combines Escuela de Shibari's in-person programme with the Shibari Dojo online platform. He began studying with Yagami Ren in 2016 and became a certified Yagami-ryu instructor in 2018. Through the school, he teaches Sekibaku in the Yagami-ryu tradition using #MSAFE ("Make Shibari Accessible For Everyone"), a school-developed pedagogy centred on physical and emotional safety, technical and biomechanical understanding rather than pattern repetition, individual adaptation, and active participation and shared responsibility in both roles. Public teaching traces include Primal Shibari at Madrid Shibari Dojo in 2023, the same workshop hosted there again on 6–7 April 2024, and Bondage for Intimacy with Rope Garden in Lisbon on 20 September 2025.
