KINBAKUSHI · TEACHER · PERFORMER
Montreal-based kinbakushi, performer and educator working publicly as Isabelle Hanikamu / 井佐鐘. Her official site describes her as a Japanese shibari and kinbaku performer and educator, born in 1961, who discovered Japanese bondage at 32, trained under Naka Akira and later created Nawakai 縄界 as a study and sharing group. The official learning page frames Hanikamu as a Sensual Semenawa Ryu teacher offering private and group shibari lessons in Montreal and globally through Nawakai, while the current Bluesky custom-domain profile gives the same 井佐鐘 / Hanikamu identity and public rope-artist / educator wording. The Naka relationship is documented only as study influence / teaching-permission context, not as formal deshi, rank or certification.
School: Naka-ryū
