French rope switch and one of the foundational voices of the European shibari scene. Real name Marika Leila Roux / Marika Leïla Roux. Her publicly documented chronology places her rope discovery around 2011, early Kinbaku LuXuria co-founding / co-running with Riccardo Wildties in 2011-2012, and early BOUND London co-organizing with Esinem from late 2012. Subsequent public traces place her in Naka Akira study / modeling / multi-year tour context, including Nawana / Nawa Naka Kai model traces in 2014-2015 after 2014 Tokyo work with Naka and Sugiura Norio, as organizer and model for Ren Yagami's 2015 EU / US tour, in repeated Hajime Kinoko performance / modeling collaborations, and in early EURIX editions including 2013, 2014 and 2016. Professional shibari model and rigger with 10+ years of intense practice, performing worldwide. Approach is deeply informed by yoga and other bodywork, and Nawapedia explicitly notes that she does not identify with one specific style. Co-founded Shibari Study with Anton Martin in 2019, bringing the shibari know-how and contacts while Anton brought vision and operations. In 2016 initiated 'Study on Falling', an ongoing aesthetic and philosophical performance research presented on major stages including the Opéra Garnier (Paris). Her public Gorgone Rope Salon channel documents current private lessons, sessions, tour dates and a guesthouse-based shibari experience in Ardèche, France.
