2004–2009

Era: 2000s

Founding-decade slice of BoundCon Munich, the international bondage and fetish convention first held at Kleine Olympiahalle in 2004. Official archived pages document BoundCon I-V through 2008, including BoundCon III — Revenge of the Ropes, BoundCon IV — Back to the Future at Tonhalle / Kultfabrik and BoundCon V — Destination Bizarre at Zenith. Early rope programmes connected German and international show, workshop and exhibitor circuits through figures and projects including Matthias T. J. Grimme / Bondage Project, Lew Rubens / BoundnDetermined and RopeMarks / Bob Roos. The first documented public convention was held in 2004; later 2003 origin wording likely refers to the project's foundation or planning phase.
