Era: 2010s

Swiss shibari / kinbaku juku founded by Harukumo and Yoko in Zürich Oerlikon in June 2014, later operating in Neuenhof for the 2019 Osada Steve workshop series and announcing a new home in Koblenz, Aargau in 2020. Harukumo-Juku's official site frames the Juku as a private-school / studio model inspired by Kitagawa Salon in Tokyo, Osada Steve's Studio SIX teaching and Yukimura Haruki's Ebisu studio. It offers private lessons, small workshops, regular practice / exchange, photography / video work and material-preparation support, with most techniques drawn from Osada-ryu and Yukimura-ryu. The lessons page describes Harukumo's Yukimura-ryu teaching as communication- and experience-centered, and says a philosophical / aesthetic / theoretical kyū-system for Yukimura-ryu has been in use since 2020. Official event pages document Osada Steve workshop series in 2018 and 2019, including Juku and Secret56 collaboration.
