Baku Yu Kai

Baku Yu Kai, 1996–, is a Japanese dojo in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Era: 1990s

One of the first official rope dojos in Japan, founded in 1996 by Akechi Denki and Miura Takumi. Kinbaku Today describes Akechi as founder and Miura as head instructor, with Bakuyukai organized around a continuing mixed-level dojo-learning model rather than one-off workshop instruction.
