Valencia, Venezuela shibari community founded in 2023 by Eysar Vargas. The direct public-safe correction describes Shibari Valencia Venezuela as a woman-led, inclusive community dedicated to shibari as an artistic, erotic, physical and relational discipline, combining education, art, body research and community building. Its stated principles include informed consent, physical and emotional safety, prior negotiation, clear communication, aftercare, continuing education, professionalism, respect for the human body, inclusion, diversity and art as a language of expression. Activities include private lessons, introductory and continuing workshops, rope jams, practice sessions, life drawing with rope models, artistic photo shoots, performances, exhibitions, film screenings, community gatherings, rope picnics / rope club activity and interdisciplinary rope-yoga / body-well-being work. The community also reports selling practice supplies such as jute ropes, hanging rings, bamboo, carabiners and related items.
