Uruguay shibari community founded in 2017 to promote shibari. Dercein's Latin American shibari resource describes @shibariuruguay as a non-profit organization that teaches classes, organizes workshops and open jams, and keeps studying with international teachers to disseminate rope practice in the region. A 2025 Dercein write-up credits Shibari Uruguay with coordinating and hosting the first-days-of-March Kirigami and Marta Tenshiko intensive workshop in Uruguay. The public Instagram profile frames the project as shibari dissemination in Uruguay, lists @p0l.rope, @mery._kate and @uncle_fabi, and links a Facebook group for the same dissemination context.
