Newcastle Shibari, 2024–, is an Australian community in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Newcastle / Lake Macquarie community-focused rope collective publicly documented from 2024. It runs fortnightly tiered classes, private lessons, T.I.E.S practice socials, performance nights and munches, mostly at Lakelands Community Hall, and hosts visiting teachers and performers from around Australia.
