Samm Pub / SAMM, 1981–2001, is a Japanese bar in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

1981–2001

Era: 1980s

Roppongi high-membership SM salon / club launched in 1981 by Kayama Shigeru. Osada Steve's official Osada Eikichi chronology says Eikichi began appearing there in 1983 and describes Samm Pub as a high-class, high-priced SM club in Roppongi run by Kayama; the same page says the venue was the precursor to the Samm Video / HMP production line that closed in 2001. Nawapedia places Hiromi Saotome in the SAMM orbit from 1980, making SAMM a compact bridge between Showa salon culture, Eikichi Osada's performance circuit and later SM-video infrastructure.
