Shibari Study describes Mie Neko as a feminist safer-space organization for FLINTA*, LGBTQIA+, fat, BIPoC, disabled and other discrimination-affected participants, while still welcoming others who respect that space. The studio offers skill-level workshops, private tuition, monthly training between workshops and rope jams, and occasional performance nights; existing official Mie Neko pages support Essen / NRW teaching and the 2026 workshop-series activity.
