Its main page says Nawapedia aims to make Japanese SM information accessible to a global audience by organizing information otherwise out of reach to many non-Japanese speakers. It complements the Japanese-language SMpedia as a translated reference for readers tracing kinbaku history, people, publications, techniques and venues.
