Okinawa-based Japanese rigger, photographer and writer working publicly as 熊掌 / Yusyou. The Blue Wind site documents self-produced kinbaku image and video work from 2014 onward, including 2017 work and a post-hiatus return in 2023–2025. In a public essay, Yusyou describes tying and photographing models through a practice focused on the person being tied, atmosphere and understated Japanese aesthetics. Public profiles continue to place this rope practice in Okinawa.
