Tokyo-based underground artist, rigger, instructor, photographer and organizer working publicly as Toronawa / トロ. His official site frames rope, photography and painting as the core of a Tokyo underground / neon subculture practice, says he began Japanese rope / kinbaku in 2019, studied for three years at MilkyWay Tokyo under Waka-sensei and in 2023 became MilkyWay's first non-Japanese rope instructor. His weekly Toro Rope Salon at MilkyWay combines English-language rope class, show and salon / free-practice time, while his performance page also documents current Cafe & Bar ecole performance and Tokyo La Nuit exhibition context.
