KINBAKUSHI · WRITER

Enigmatic early-postwar Japanese kinbakushi, writer and photography-oriented bondage stylist. Nawapedia says Ohshita started shortly after World War II, worked for Fuzoku Soshi after newspaper reporting in Tokyo, later appeared in Fuzoku Kitan and SM Kitan, and became known for close-up rope photographs built around neck ropes, desks and acrobatic poses. documented here as a compact postwar publishing-context entry; the possible identity overlap with Kuichiro Yamashita is retained as alias context rather than a second entry.
