The 2022 `Vergajo 3` Festival de Cuerdas publication profiles Roy Burn as a Peru-based rigger with more than twenty-five years in BDSM, more than ten years focused on shibari, intensive study with Osada Steve in Tokyo, regular students in Lima and operation of `Deviant: Shibari Dojo`. Independent public Lima sources also name Roy Burn as a shibarista in a cultural conversation, quote him as a professional shibarista in the `Nawashi Love` photo project, and preserve older Lima Shibari Crew context.
