Athens-based Greek photographer, filmmaker, performer and shibari artist publicly working as Rope Shadow, Chris Shaghal and Christos Tsakalos. ShibariNews presents him as the local Athens Rope Dojo teacher from 2012 and ties him to the Rope Studies performance team. An independent Athens Voice feature on the 2014 Faust collaboration with Stavros Parginos says Rope Studies was created in late 2011 by Tsakalos and had already logged dozens of Athens performances plus international collaboration context with Gorgone and Felix Ruckert.
