The independent subMERGE interview identifies Paul as Serene_X, describes Paul and Flynn as Oblige co-owners who created the Metro Detroit rope / kink studio together, and says shibari and rope bondage are primary practices for both. Current Oblige L.E.A.P. pages continue to list Serene_X teaching rope fundamentals, suspension and safety-focused classes.
