Bangkok-based Thai erotic / queer visual artist whose recent public work uses shibari as installation, video and performance language. Schwules Museum's Young Birds exhibition site lists Oat Montien's 2024 `American Dream Revisited` as a mixed-media shibari installation made from rope and clothes from the artist's late father, alongside the video `Untie (Death Valley)`. Berlin Art Link's 2026 studio visit describes Montien tying objects and clothing with shibari knots, including `Pearl Boy` and father-memorial works, and frames the practice through sexuality, masculinity, grief and queer community-building. Included as a visual-culture bridge, not as a rope school / teacher or lineage entry.
