Xplore's 2011 Fesselplatz archive says he had taught bondage for roughly three decades, studied with Osada Steve from 2004 to 2010 and worked with Arlis as student and rope partner from 2006. Current Xplore and EURIX records preserve his durable Berlin trainer role, while Felix Ruckert names Hagen among his early shibari teachers.
