Goldie Sunshine

Goldie Sunshine is an Israeli rigger.

Tel Aviv-based Israeli rope artist, performer, teacher, model and organizer. Her official site dates her start in rope to August 2015 as a rope bottom and her start as a rigger to November 2016; she describes a practice combining shibari with contemporary Western rope, usually using 6 mm jute. Her private lessons cover shibari history, safety, rope choice, technique, creative process and communication before, during and after a scene. Shibari Israel's community history records a 2016 international-festival appearance with MyMay, with Goldie as the tied partner, and a 2019 appearance with Daniel Rope, with Goldie as rigger. It also names her among the organizers and riggers of Rope Show IL 2020, described as an early attempt to create a local multi-performer festival format. Her public performance archive documents work as both rigger and model across EURIX, RopeFest, Shi Fest Ukraine, Rome Bondage Week, AthenShibari, Onawa Asobi Europe, BoundCon Munich and BalkanBound.
