In a KALTBLUT interview, Fabio da Motta describes using shibari as part of his photographic composition, learning rope and developing sessions and performances around bodies, flowers and bondage. Iridescent Studio Amsterdam billed him as a Brazil-based shibari artist for a public rope performance in 2023. MUNA's final catalog for Opium Dream credits da Motta in the cast and as the film's bondage artist.
