Ren Yagami's official instructor profile says Chris Be spent years studying with different teachers across Europe, started teaching and performing shibari in 2021, has since studied consistently under Ren Yagami, earned the Shoden certification in Yagami-ryu in 2025, and became an official instructor in 2026. The same profile says he teaches regularly at his shibari dojo in Munich, offers workshops and private tuition, and draws on a martial-arts background plus years running a ninjutsu dojo to shape a communication-led style built through subtle invitations rather than forced control. Shigetsu Shibari Dojo Munich's official about page independently places him in the current dojo team and Yagami-ryu teaching context.
