2007 documentary short and single-channel video installation directed by Hito Steyerl and commissioned by documenta 12. The 29-minute-43-second work follows Steyerl's return to Tokyo to identify a nawa-shibari photograph made of her in 1987, moving through photographers, publishers, archives and contemporary rope practice. Institutional credits and the film catalogue name Asagi Ageha as performer and assistant director, Osada Steve as ropemaster and Tokyo producer, Nureki Chimuo as an on-screen ropemaster, Matthias T. J. Grimme as the Hamburg ropemaster, and Watanabe Yasuji and Tanaka Kinichi as participants in the photographic search. Sixpackfilm lists Germany, Japan and Austria as production countries.
