BondageFest Russia, 2007–2008, is a Russian event in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Early Moscow / Russian-language bondage arts festival documented by the 2007 DarkGrot report and the 2008 BondageFest LiveJournal archive. The 2008 archive frames the second open all-Russian festival as a public binding-art event with masters from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, shibari / hojo-jutsu among the represented forms, master classes during breaks and a thematic photo exhibition. The event is useful as a pre-RopeFest public trace for post-Soviet shibari / bondage exchange.
