The Boring Dojo

The Boring Dojo, 2015–, is a Belgian dojo in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Brussels / Anderlecht rope dojo run in the A-Nicolas / Nicolas Yoroi orbit, now presented publicly as The Boring Dojo. A-Nicolas's official bio records a Brussels dojo opening in 2015 and a fifth Brussels dojo opening in 2024. The current dojo site lists Chaussee de Mons 26, 1070 Anderlecht and describes a friendly space for physical, emotional and artistic exploration centered on minimalist, organic, movement-based rope practice. Its 2026-2027 programme continues a regular study path from introductory kinbaku through floor work, suspension, masterclass / research, intensive training and rope jams. The practice draws on Japanese bondage / kinbaku / shibari as well as dance, massage, martial arts, performance, power exchange, safety, medical and art knowledge.
