Heartland's official home page describes it as a Chicago rope studio offering traditionally inspired Japanese rope-bondage education, while the team page names SweetZephyr as organizational director, founder and lead instructor and ClaraRosa as instructor / bottoming instructor. The FAQ and private-lesson pages document core modules, open studio / practice times, Discord community access and residential private tuition for traveling students. The public curriculum is framed around traditional Japanese rope bondage, semenawa, suffering, surrender, compacting the body, suspension and advanced continuing education; the site explicitly says the curriculum is inspired by Akechi Kanna, Riccardo Wildties and Naka Akira while not claiming official authorization in those styles.
