The Suspended Canvas, 2023–, is a community in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Era: 2020s

Taipei rope and aerial-arts community project created by Noir_fix and Yisi in 2023. The official Cats Downstairs about page describes The Suspended Canvas as an organization hosting rope figure-drawing sessions, self-suspension workshops, open-practice salons and performances, with programming around rope, self-suspension and aerial arts; Cats Downstairs also frames it as the partner running the shared Yuanshan Station studio from 2024. Included as compact infrastructure for Noir_fix's organizer / co-founder role; individual models, recurring figure-drawing sessions and Yisi remain source context until a separate pass needs them.
