Shibari is the Way, 2020s-, is an American community in the bakushi / kinbaku ecosystem.

Spokane shibari education and performance-community project founded by Ray Duran. The official site presents Shibari is the Way as Spokane's home for shibari classes, burlesque shows, Shibari and Flow Nights and nylon rope; its class page describes hands-on beginner through advanced rope training in Spokane, and its shows page frames the project with Spokane Flow Syndicate as a local collective producing burlesque, drag, flow-arts and rope-art shows. Host-side Dream Studio, Spokesman-Review, AllEvents and Handstamp pages independently preserve 2025-2026 class and Shibari and Flow event traces in Spokane.
