Manila rope community started by Winter Nawa and documented independently through recurring Manila Rope Jam activity in 2015. A Shibari.PH annual recap records Manila Rope hosting visiting educators ItsPlay / Heath Pennington and Mango / Aguacate in 2017, while a 2022 Mango workshop was hosted by Manila Rope in partnership with Shibari.PH. Winter's later presenter biography describes the project as part of a continuing community-organizing and rope-education practice.
