Era: 2010s
Lausanne-based Swiss Romande / Vaud shibari and bondage community project. Its official site presents Encordages Lémaniques as a small-group rope-practice space between Lausanne and Geneva, with initiations, a three-step shibari course track, rope jams, rope picnics and invited workshops. The team page names Cordafortis / Markus and sweet_shiver / Christine as the current local pair: Markus says he started rope in 2015 and trains regularly, while Christine says Markus introduced her to rope in January 2017 and that they have since trained intensively through workshops and annual RopeRetreat participation. A 2026 direct public-safe correction from Markus / Cordafortis identifies Encordages Lémaniques as their linked Lausanne community / dojo founded in 2017. An August 2025 official post documents Marc Marukunawa as a guest teacher for two end-of-November workshops at Encordages Lémaniques.
