BondageFest 2008
BondageFest 2008 runs 1 Mar in Moscow, Russia.
Early Moscow / Russian-language bondage arts festival held in 2007 and 2008. The first edition ran on March 3, 2007 at the club-restaurant Europe and Asia, with two podiums, demonstrations and a photo exhibition; its official programme lists Mihail_A from Minsk for shibari. The 2008 archive frames the second open all-Russian festival as a public binding-art event with masters from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, shibari / hojo-jutsu among the represented forms, master classes during breaks and a thematic photo exhibition. The event is a pre-RopeFest public trace for post-Soviet shibari / bondage exchange.
