Riccardo Wildties

Riccardo Wildties, born 1976, is a Italian nawashi in the Naka-ryū.

Italian nawashi, photographer and educator. Initially self-taught, then turned decisively toward Naka Akira's semenawa after encountering Naka's work in 2012 and meeting him in Moscow in 2013. Officially became Naka Akira's deshi in 2015 and is commonly described as Naka's ichiban deshi. With partner Red Sabbath he runs Kinbaku LuXuria, a Naka-ryu-descended style that re-engineers aspects of the technique for Western students and models while preserving its emotional and aesthetic core.
