2010s slice of Russia's first and largest shibari festival, first held in Saint Petersburg in 2012 and developed through the ArtCo / RopeSchool ecosystem before the pandemic-era break. ShibariNews describes Rope Fest as the first Russian Shibari Festival in St Petersburg, supported by Shibari Club Yugen, RopeSchool, RopeShop.Guru and KinkAfisha, with multi-day performances, seminars, peer rope, escape events and rope jams. The 2010s branch anchors the early Saint Petersburg / Moscow / Baltia festival family and its international guest-master roster.
